Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
The CYTH4 gene encodes a member of the PSCD family, characterized by:
- N-terminal coiled-coil motif for homodimerization
- Central Sec7 domain with guanine-nucleotide exchange protein (GEP) activity
- C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain interacting with phospholipids and mediating membrane association
These proteins regulate protein sorting and membrane trafficking. CYTH4 shows GEP activity with ARF1 and ARF5, but not ARF6. The structure is similar to CYTH1.
