Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse HAI-1 is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human HAI-2 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Kunitz family of serine protease inhibitors. It is a potent inhibitor specific for HGF activator and plays a role in regulating proteolytic activation of HGF in injured tissues.
Alternative splicing results in multiple variants encoding different isoforms.
