MA1-70090 detects CD80 in mouse samples.
MA1-70090 has been successfully used in flow cytometry procedures.
The MA1-70090 immunogen is mouse B7-1 protein.
Target Information
CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2) are ligands of T cell costimulatory molecule CD28 and inhibitory receptor CTLA-4 (CD152). Both are expressed on professional antigen-presenting cells and are essential for T cell activation.
CD80 is rapidly induced on the surface of activated B cells, EBV-transformed B cell lines, Burkitt’s lymphoma cell lines, follicular B lymphoma cells, T cells, and monocytes.
The B-lymphocyte activation antigen B7-1 provides regulatory signals for T lymphocytes by binding to CD28 and CTLA4 ligands.
Diseases associated with CD80 dysfunction include gallbladder squamous cell carcinoma and myocarditis.
