Target Information
Serum Response Factor (SRF) is a transcription factor that binds the serum response element (SRE), mediating transient gene responses to growth stimulation.
SRF-binding sites act as constitutive promoter elements in many muscle-specific promoters.
SRF is required for cardiac differentiation and maturation.
