Description:
This monoclonal mouse IgG2a antibody (clone eBM2a) serves as an isotype control for mouse IgG2a antibodies.
Applications Reported:
Reported for use in immunohistochemical staining (IHC) and immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF).
Applications Tested:
Validated for IHC and ICC. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody. Not validated for flow cytometry.
Filter Recommendation:
For eFluor™ 615 conjugate, use filters capturing 615 nm emission (e.g., Excitation 560/55, 585LP, Emission 645/75). Standard Alexa Fluor™ 594 filters are acceptable.
Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It plays a key role in adaptive immune responses, including T cell activation and B cell inhibition.
Commonly used in ELISA, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunotherapy research.
