Product Specific Information

The monoclonal Mouse IgG1 kappa immunoglobulin serves as an isotype control.
It has been reported for use in immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunohistochemistry (IHC-P) applications.
This antibody has been tested on fixed and permeabilized MDCK cells and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded human brain tissue.
Use the isotype control at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Filter Recommendation:
For eFluor™ 615 conjugate, use a filter capturing the 615 nm emission wavelength. A standard Alexa Fluor™ 594 filter is acceptable.

Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigen exposure.
It is the most abundant IgG subclass in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immunity, including:

• Opsonization
• Complement activation
• Antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC)
• Regulation of T and B cell activation

Mouse IgG1 is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, and also in therapeutic development such as immunotherapy and vaccine research.
