Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MDM2 is the primary regulator of p53 protein stability. MDMX (also designated MDM4) inhibits MDM2-mediated degradation of p53 through distinct interactions. The MDMX gene is often amplified in malignant gliomas. ARF interacts with MDMX to sequester it within the nucleolus, increasing p53 transactivation. MDMX expression can reverse MDM2-targeted degradation of p53 while maintaining suppression of p53 transactivation. MDMX also binds p73 and stabilizes its level, increasing p73 half-life.
