Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody HP-F1 recognizes CD85j, also known as ILT2, LILRB1, and LIR1.
CD85j is a member of the ILT/LIR/MIR receptor family, a single transmembrane glycoprotein with four ITIMs that signal via SHP-1.
It is expressed on myeloid cells (monocytes, dendritic cells) and subsets of NK, T, and B lymphocytes. Expression correlates with leukemias (ALL, CLL) and viral infections (HIV, EBV, CMV).
Ligands include MHC Class I molecules such as HLA-G, A, F, B27, E, and F.

  • Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and validated for normal human peripheral blood cells
  • Recommended Use: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (final volume 100 µL; 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Super Bright 600 is a tandem dye excited by the 405 nm violet laser and emits at 600 nm.
Recommended detection filter: 610/20 bandpass. Ensure instrument compatibility.

When using multiple Super Bright-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-57) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information

This gene belongs to the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family, located at chromosome 19q13.4.
The encoded protein is part of the subfamily B class of LIR receptors, containing extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, and cytoplasmic ITIM motifs.
It is expressed on immune cells, binds MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells, and transduces inhibitory signals to regulate immune responses and prevent autoreactivity.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
