For detection of Murine RANTES (CCL5), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of antibody (100 µL/well). In combination with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine RANTES (CCL5) (500-P118) as capture antibody, detects ≥0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine RANTES (CCL5).Western Blot:
Detects mRANTES at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Detection limit for Recombinant mRANTES is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.Package Information:

Target Information
CCL5 (RANTES) is a chemokine gene located on chromosome 17q. It encodes a protein that functions as a chemoattractant for monocytes, memory T helper cells, and eosinophils. CCL5 activates eosinophils, induces histamine release from basophils, and serves as a natural ligand for CCR5, suppressing replication of HIV-1 R5 strains. It plays roles in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. Alternative splicing produces multiple isoforms. Diseases associated with CCL5 include Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 and Periapical Granuloma.
