Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human GCP-2 (CXCL6). Anti-Human GCP-2 (CXCL6)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human GCP-2 (CXCL6) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required.
This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human GCP-2 (CXCL6) (500-P120) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human GCP-2 (CXCL6).

Western Blot:
To detect hGCP-2 by Western Blot, this antibody can be used at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL.
When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hGCP-2 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

CXCL6 is a chemotactic factor for neutrophil granulocytes. It signals through receptors CXCR1 and CXCR2.
In addition to its chemotactic and angiogenic properties, CXCL6 exhibits strong antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (approximately 90-fold higher compared to CXCL5 and CXCL7).
