GenScript THE™ HA Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse (A01244) is a highly sensitive monoclonal antibody applicable to HA-tagged fusion protein detection. It belongs to the THE™ elite antibody collection. HA, or human influenza hemagglutinin, is a surface glycoprotein required for influenza virus infectivity. The HA tag does not interfere with the bioactivity or biodistribution of recombinant proteins.
This antibody detects HA tags derived from an HA molecule corresponding to amino acids 98–106 and is widely used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.
Target Information
HA Tag (hemagglutinin tag) is an epitope tag used to localize gene products, study protein topology and complexes, identify associated proteins, and characterize newly identified or low-abundance proteins when protein-specific antibodies are unavailable. HA (hemagglutinin) is a surface glycoprotein derived from influenza hemagglutinin, commonly expressed as a tag to aid identification and purification of tagged proteins for functional analysis.
