Target Information

Interleukin 5 (IL-5)는 T 세포에서 유래된 가용성 인자로, B 세포 및 호산구의 성장과 분화를 유도합니다. IL-5는 두 개의 사슬로 구성된 IL-5 receptor를 통해 생물학적 활성을 나타냅니다.

• Alpha chain: IL-5와 낮은 친화도로 결합
• Beta chain: IL-5에 직접 결합하지 않지만, alpha chain과 함께 고친화성 수용체를 형성
  두 사슬의 세포질 도메인은 신호 전달에 필수적이며, 특히 alpha subunit의 막 근접 proline-rich 서열은 IL-5 유도 증식 반응, nuclear proto-oncogene 발현 및 JAK1/JAK2의 tyrosine 인산화에 중요합니다.
