Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages:
- Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulations
- Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
The encoded protein belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, which regulates cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
This PTP contains two tandem Src homology-2 domains that mediate phospho-tyrosine binding and substrate interactions. It is widely expressed and plays regulatory roles in signaling pathways related to mitogenic activation, metabolism, transcription, and cell migration.
Mutations in this gene are associated with Noonan syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia.
For Research Use Only.
Not for use in diagnostic procedures or resale without authorization.
