Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-28A is observed.
- In Western blots, approximately 35% cross-reactivity (reducing conditions) and approximately 10% cross-reactivity (non-reducing conditions) with recombinant mouse IL-28A is observed.
- This antibody neutralizes 100% of recombinant mouse IL-28A.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
IL-28B encodes a cytokine distantly related to type I interferons and the IL-10 family. IL-28B, IL-28A, and IL-29 form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 19q13. Expression of these cytokines can be induced by viral infection. All three interact with a heterodimeric class II cytokine receptor composed of IL10RB and IL28RA.
