This antibody reacts specifically to Histone H3 trimethylated at Lysine 36 (H3K36me3).
No cross-reactivity with monomethylated (H3K36me1) or dimethylated (H3K36me2) forms, or other methylations on histone H3.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, and the best clones are selected for production.

Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein component of chromatin in all eukaryotic cells. Together with four core histones, it forms nucleosomes that compact and organize DNA.

The N-terminal tail of histone H3 undergoes multiple post-translational modifications—such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation—that modulate chromatin structure and transcription factor binding.
