Target Information
Hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) is an intracellular neutral lipase found in various tissues, primarily adipose and steroidogenic tissues. It hydrolyzes triglycerides and cholesteryl esters and is the major enzyme responsible for the mobilization of free fatty acids from adipose tissue.
