Target Information

CLEC-14A (C-type lectin domain family 14 member A), also known as EGFR-5 or CEG1, is a 490 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein containing one C-type lectin domain and an EGF-like domain.
The CLEC14A gene is located on human chromosome 14, which contains over 700 genes and accounts for approximately 3.5% of the human genome.
Chromosome 14 includes genes such as PSEN1, linked to Alzheimer’s disease, and SERPINA1, whose mutations cause alpha1-antitrypsin deficiency associated with lung and liver disorders.
