For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The DTNA protein belongs to the dystrobrevin subfamily of the dystrophin family. It is a component of the dystrophin-associated protein complex (DPC), which includes dystrophin and several integral and peripheral membrane proteins such as dystroglycans, sarcoglycans, syntrophins, and alpha- and beta-dystrobrevin.
The DPC localizes to the sarcolemma, and its disruption is associated with various forms of muscular dystrophy. Mutations in the DTNA gene are linked to left ventricular noncompaction with congenital heart defects. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encode different isoforms of this gene.
