Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CTDSP1 is a class 2C phosphatase dependent on the conserved DxD motif. Expression of CTDSP1 inhibits activated transcription from several promoter-reporter constructs, while phosphatase-inactive mutants enhance transcription.
REST/NRSF complex recruits SCPs to neuronal genes containing RE1 elements, silencing neuronal gene expression in nonneuronal cells. Phosphatase-inactive SCPs disrupt REST/NRSF function, promoting neuronal differentiation. SCP activity is an evolutionarily conserved regulator for neuronal gene silencing.
