Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MCP-4 (CCL13). The anti-Human MCP-4 (CCL13)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MCP-4 using sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When paired with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MCP-4 (CCL13) (500-P04G) as the capture antibody, this biotinylated antibody enables detection of at least 2000–4000 pg/mL of Recombinant Human MCP-4.

Western Blot:
For Western Blot analysis, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. In combination with appropriate detection reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human MCP-4 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 4 (MCP-4), also known as CCL13, is induced by inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1 and TNFα. MCP-4 acts as a ligand for G protein-coupled receptors CCR2, CCR3, and CCR5, activating signaling in monocytes, T lymphocytes, eosinophils, and basophils, which are associated with allergic responses.
