Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human Coagulation Factor III / Tissue Factor / CD142.
Target Information
The CD142 gene encodes coagulation factor III, a cell surface glycoprotein that enables cells to initiate blood coagulation cascades. It functions as the high-affinity receptor for coagulation factor VII, forming a complex that triggers protease cascades responsible for coagulation initiation.
Unlike other cofactors circulating as nonfunctional precursors, this factor is a potent initiator that is fully functional when expressed on cell surfaces. It contains three distinct domains: extracellular, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic. Notably, no congenital deficiency of this protein has been described.
