Target Information
DEK is a protein containing one SAP domain that binds to cruciform and superhelical DNA, inducing positive supercoils into closed circular DNA. It is also involved in splice site selection during mRNA processing. Chromosomal aberrations, increased expression, and the presence of antibodies against DEK are associated with various diseases.
