Falcon® 96-well Insert System, PET Membrane, Insert plate with feeder tray and lid
The Falcon® 96 Multiwell Insert System is a cell culture insert platform suitable for both manual and robotic screening of compounds in cell-based assays.
This system has been validated for producing differentiated monolayers of Caco-2, LLC-PK1, and MDCK cells, making it ideal for in vitro bioavailability and permeability studies.
This automation-compatible platform consists of:
- 1.0 µm pore size PET membrane-based 96 Multiwell Insert plate
- Media feeder tray
- Lid
The drop-in baffle in the feeder tray minimizes media sloshing and reduces contamination risk.
For individual sample analysis, the insert plate can be transferred to the Falcon® 96 Square Well, Angled-Bottom Plate.
Alternatively, the angled-bottom plate can be used directly with the insert for culturing cells, eliminating the transfer step from the single-well feeder tray.
