Product Specific Information
- Predicted to react with mouse and rat based on sequence homology.
- Heat-mediated antigen retrieval recommended using 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 min, then cool at room temperature for 20 min.
- After retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 min at room temperature.
- Suggested positive control: placenta or angiosarcoma.
Target Information
FLT1 (VEGFR1) is a receptor tyrosine kinase critical for angiogenesis.
Active angiogenesis plays a key role in tumor progression, diabetic retinopathy, rheumatoid arthritis, and wound healing.
FLT1 may act as a negative regulator of embryonic angiogenesis by inhibiting excessive endothelial cell proliferation.
In adults, it can promote endothelial cell proliferation and survival in a cell-type-specific manner.
It has high affinity for VEGFA but relatively low kinase activity, possibly serving as a negative regulator of VEGFA signaling.
