Product Specific Information

Since it is highly conserved across species, the antibody may react with many other species.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:

  • Better specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulations
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein found in the chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Together with other core histones, it forms the nucleosome structure by binding to DNA. Histones are essential for transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability.

Post-translational modifications of histone H3, such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, play key roles in controlling chromatin structure and gene expression. The N-terminal tail of histone H3 undergoes these modifications, influencing various cellular processes.
