For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

COMMD1 is a proposed scaffold protein involved in diverse physiological processes, including regulation of ubiquitination of specific cellular proteins. It modulates activity of cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase (CRL) complexes by displacing CAND1, promotes ubiquitination and degradation of NF-kappa-B subunit RELA, and down-regulates NF-kappa-B activity.
It regulates membrane expression and ubiquitination of SLC12A2, modulates Na⁺ transport in epithelial cells via ENaC subunit regulation, and promotes CFTR surface expression. COMMD1 also affects copper ion homeostasis, facilitating ATP7A trafficking and biliary copper excretion. Additionally, it binds phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PtdIns(4,5)P2) and regulates HIF1A-mediated transcription.
