Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

CD31 (platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1, PECAM-1) is an inhibitory coreceptor that regulates T and B cell signaling through dual ITIM motifs, serving as docking sites for protein-tyrosine phosphatases upon phosphorylation.
It is ubiquitously expressed within the vascular compartment, primarily at junctions between adjacent cells.
The N-terminal Ig-like domain mediates homophilic binding, crucial for cell-cell interactions.
CD31 plays roles in integrin-mediated adhesion, transendothelial migration, angiogenesis, apoptosis, immunoregulation, autoimmunity, macrophage phagocytosis, IgE-mediated anaphylaxis, and thrombosis, making it a key regulator in the vascular system.
