Target Information
TGF-alpha는 EGF 수용체를 통해 신호를 전달하는 EGF 관련 폴리펩타이드 성장인자로, 다양한 표피 및 상피 세포의 증식을 자극합니다. 단핵구, 각질형성세포, 그리고 여러 종양 세포에서 생성됩니다. TGF-alpha는 배양 세포에서 부착 독립적 형질전환을 유도하며, 인간, 생쥐, 흰쥐 간 교차 반응성을 가집니다. TGF-alpha(aa 50)는 EGF와 33% 상동성을 가지며, EGFR에 결합하여 수용체의 티로신 인산화를 활성화하고 세포 증식을 촉진합니다. 또한 가역적 형질전환 표현형을 유도하여 종양 개시에 관여합니다.
