CD61 (GPIIIa, ITGB3)는 거핵세포, 혈소판 및 그 전구세포에서 발견되는 당단백질로, 혈소판 응집에 관여하며 fibrinogen, fibronectin, von Willebrand factor, vitronectin 등의 수용체 역할을 합니다.
CD61은 105 kDa의 당단백질로 세포 표면에서 αIIb integrin (CD41) 또는 αV integrin (CD51)과 결합합니다. CD61은 CD41과 함께 혈소판 및 거핵세포에, CD51과 함께 내피세포, 단핵세포, 혈소판, 골파괴세포에 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 세포 부착 및 세포 표면 신호 전달에 관여하며, Glanzmann Thrombasthenia 및 Platelet type-16 Bleeding Disorder와 관련이 있습니다.
