Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages include:
- Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulations
- Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
The Cdc27 protein shares strong similarity with Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc27 and Schizosaccharomyces pombe nuc2. It is a component of the anaphase-promoting complex (APC), composed of eight conserved subunits in eukaryotic cells.
APC catalyzes the formation of cyclin B–ubiquitin conjugates, mediating ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis of B-type cyclins.
Cdc27 contains TPR (tetratricopeptide repeat) domains important for protein-protein interactions and interacts with mitotic checkpoint proteins such as Mad2, p55CDC, and BUBR1, implicating its role in mitotic timing control.
Alternative splicing generates multiple isoforms.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
