Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information
The 14-3-3 theta gene encodes a protein belonging to the 14-3-3 family, which mediates signal transduction by binding phosphoserine-containing proteins. This conserved family is present in plants and mammals, with 99% identity to mouse and rat orthologs.
The gene is upregulated in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and contains a polymorphic 6 bp tandem repeat sequence in its 5′ UTR, though no correlation with disease has been found.
