Target Information
IkB-alpha는 NF-kappaB 활성 억제에 관여하는 40 kDa 단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 NF-kappaB와 상호작용하여 핵 이동을 차단하며, TNF-alpha, IL-1 beta, PMA, LPS, UV, 바이러스 감염 등 다양한 자극에 의해 분해되어 NF-kappaB를 활성화시킵니다.
인간에서는 14번 염색체 q arm에 위치하며, IKK alpha에 의해 Ser32 및 Ser36에서 인산화되어 분해가 촉진됩니다. IKK 복합체는 IKK alpha, IKK beta, IKK gamma 세 서브유닛으로 구성되며, 각각 IkB 인산화 과정에 필수적인 역할을 합니다.
