This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The CDH17 gene is a member of the cadherin superfamily, encoding calcium-dependent, membrane-associated glycoproteins. The encoded protein is cadherin-like, consisting of:
- An extracellular region containing 7 cadherin domains
- A transmembrane region
- Lacking the conserved cytoplasmic domain
The protein is a component of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic ducts, acting as an intestinal proton-dependent peptide transporter in the first step of oral absorption of many peptide-based drugs. It may also play a role in the morphological organization of liver and intestine.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
