Target Information
Carbonic anhydrases (CAs)는 이산화탄소의 가역적 수화 반응을 촉매하는 아연 금속 효소 계열로, 호흡, 석회화, 산-염기 균형, 골 흡수, 그리고 다양한 체액(안방수, 뇌척수액, 침, 위액 등)의 형성에 관여합니다.
CA5A 유전자는 간의 미토콘드리아 기질에서 발현되는 CA V 단백질을 암호화하며, 다른 조직에서도 검출될 수 있습니다. 특히 요소 생성 과정에서 carbamoyl phosphate synthetase에 bicarbonate를 제공하는 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
