Product Specific Information
- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.

Anti-AKT2 antibody recognizes human AKT2 and detects both unphosphorylated and phosphorylated forms.
Cross-reactivity with other species has not been confirmed, but sequence identity suggests possible reactivity with mouse (88%) and rat (90%).
Target Information
AKT2 is a phosphoinositide-dependent serine/threonine protein kinase enriched in insulin-responsive tissues. It plays a key role in cellular signaling and is associated with metabolic processes triggered by growth factor receptors activating PI3K. AKT2 amplification and overexpression have been observed in certain human cancers.
