Target Information
IL1R2 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 interleukin 1 receptor family에 속하는 사이토카인 수용체입니다. 이 단백질은 interleukin alpha (IL1A), interleukin beta (IL1B), 그리고 interleukin 1 receptor type I (IL1R1/IL1RA)에 결합하며, 리간드의 활성을 억제하는 decoy receptor로 작용합니다. IL4는 IL1의 활성을 길항하여 이 사이토카인의 발현과 방출을 유도하는 것으로 보고되었습니다. 이 유전자와 세 개의 다른 유전자는 염색체 2q12의 사이토카인 수용체 유전자 클러스터를 형성합니다. 두 가지 alternative splicing 전사체 변형이 보고되었으며, 동일한 단백질을 암호화합니다.
