VCAM-1 (Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule 1) is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine-activated endothelium.
It regulates leukocyte migration, leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion, and signal transduction, and may play a role in various inflammatory diseases.
