For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
For FACS testing, incubation times of at least 30 minutes are recommended.
Mouse anti-human CD79a antibody, clone ZL7-4 recognizes the human B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein alpha chain, also known as MB-1 membrane glycoprotein or CD79a.
Target Information
CD79a is a disulphide-linked heterodimer that includes B29 (CD79b) polypeptide. It is a B lymphocyte antigen receptor associated with Ig-alpha and Ig-beta, essential for B-cell receptor expression and function.
CD79a appears at the pre-B cell stage and persists until the plasma cell stage, where it is found intracellularly.
It is expressed in most acute leukemias of precursor B cell type, B cell lines, B cell lymphomas, and some myelomas, but not in myeloid or T cell lines.
Diseases associated with CD79a include Agammaglobulinemia 3 and Agammaglobulinemia, Non-Bruton type.
