Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.

Neurofilaments are intermediate filament proteins specifically found in neurons and composed of three major proteins: NF-L, NF-M, and NF-H.
NF-H plays a crucial role in maintaining neuronal caliber and is involved in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Expression of neuronal intermediate filament proteins is tissue-specific and developmentally regulated.
