Target Information
GATA3는 T-cell receptor(TCR) α, β, γ, δ 서브유닛 유전자들의 enhancer 요소에 결합하는 enhancer-binding 단백질입니다. Marine과 Winoto(1991)는 GATA3가 모든 TCR 유전자의 enhancer에 결합하는 공통 조절 요소임을 확인했습니다.
GATA3는 zinc finger 도메인을 포함하며, T 세포에서 높은 수준으로 발현되고 B 세포나 대식세포에서는 발현되지 않습니다. T 세포 수용체 유전자 활성화에 관여하며, 인간 GATA3 유전자는 17 kb DNA 상에 6개의 엑손으로 구성되어 있습니다. 두 개의 zinc finger는 각각 별도의 엑손에 의해 암호화되며, GATA1과 높은 보존성을 보입니다.
