Invitrogen™ LentiArray™ Human Protease CRISPR Library
The award-winning Invitrogen™ LentiArray™ Human Protease Library targets 475 genes with up to 4 gRNAs per gene target (pooled in a single well), for a total of 1,900 gRNAs.
Libraries are delivered as 100 μL of ready-to-use lentiviral particles per gene target with an average titer of 1×10⁸ TU/mL (functional titer determined by antibiotic resistance).
Proteases degrade proteins but are also integral signaling molecules. Deregulation of protease signaling pathways has been implicated in the development of cardiovascular disease, neurological disorders, cancer, and inflammatory disease.
The gene targets within this library were selected using up-to-date genome databases, including NCBI RefSeq, and cross-referenced to the Gene Ontology Consortium (GO) and HUGO Gene Nomenclature Committee (HGNC) databases.

LentiArray CRISPR libraries are constructed using Thermo Fisher Scientific’s proprietary CRISPR gRNA design algorithm, incorporating the latest gRNA design research and in-house experience.
Each gRNA is selected for maximal editing efficiency and specificity, designed to knock out all known isoforms of the target gene.
Up to four high-quality gRNAs per gene target ensure efficient knockout across a wide array of cell types.
Design and Execute Your Experiments Without Limitations
LentiArray CRISPR libraries utilize a two-vector design, expressing the Cas9 nuclease and the gRNA from separate lentiviral constructs.
This enables full control over the timing and method of genome editing tool delivery.
- Cas9 Lentivirus Construct: Expresses human codon-optimized Cas9 nuclease and blasticidin-resistance gene under the EF-1α (EFS) promoter.
- Flexible Use: Co-infect cells with both Cas9 and gRNA lentiviruses or use Cas9 lentivirus alone to establish stable Cas9-expressing cell lines.
- No Fluorescent Markers: Allows use of any reporter wavelength and supports multiplexed experiments.
- Puromycin Resistance: Enables enrichment of edited cell populations for stronger phenotypes.
