Invitrogen™ LentiArray™ Human Cell Surface CRISPR Library
The award-winning Invitrogen™ LentiArray™ Human Cell Surface Protein Library targets 778 genes with up to 4 gRNA per gene target (pooled in a single well) for a total of 3,112 gRNAs.
Libraries are delivered as 100 μL of ready-to-use lentiviral particles per gene target with an average titer of 1×10⁸ TU/mL (functional titer determined by antibiotic resistance).
Comprehensive Gene Coverage
The broad array of cell surface proteins allows cells to receive information from and react to their environment. Gene targets were selected using the most up-to-date genome databases, including NCBI RefSeq, and cross-referenced to the Gene Ontology Consortium (GO) and HUGO Gene Nomenclature Committee (HGNC) databases.

LentiArray CRISPR libraries are constructed using Thermo Fisher Scientific’s proprietary CRISPR gRNA design algorithm, incorporating the latest research and in-house expertise to deliver high-quality designs.
Each gene target includes up to four gRNAs optimized for maximal editing efficiency and specificity, designed to knock out all known isoforms of the target gene.
Design and Execute Without Limitations
LentiArray CRISPR libraries utilize a two-vector design, expressing Cas9 nuclease and gRNA from separate lentiviral constructs.
This enables flexible experimental design—researchers can co-infect cells with both constructs or use the Cas9 lentivirus alone to establish a stable Cas9-expressing cell line.
The LentiArray Cas9 lentivirus expresses a human, codon-optimized Cas9 nuclease with a blasticidin-resistance gene under the EF-1α (EFS) promoter.
To minimize experimental restrictions, the gRNA lentiviruses do not contain fluorescent markers, allowing use of any reporter wavelength and enabling multiplexed experiments.
For challenging cell lines, the gRNA lentiviruses include a puromycin resistance gene for enrichment of edited cells and stronger phenotypes.
