PEP-1061 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-20947.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is structurally very similar to the CDC46 protein from S. cerevisiae, which is involved in the initiation of DNA replication. The encoded protein belongs to the MCM family of chromatin-binding proteins and interacts with at least two other family members. It is upregulated during the transition from G0 to G1/S phase of the cell cycle and may play a role in cell cycle regulation.
