Target Information
STK24 (MST3)는 serine/threonine kinase로, STE20-like 단백질의 GCK 하위군에 속합니다. 효모의 Sterile 20 (STE20) 유전자는 MAPK cascade 상위에서 작용하며, 포유류에서는 구조 및 조절 방식에 따라 두 하위군으로 나뉩니다.
PAK 하위군은 C-말단 촉매 도메인과 N-말단 CDC42 결합 도메인을 포함하는 조절 도메인을 가지며, GCK 하위군은 N-말단 촉매 도메인과 CDC42 결합 도메인이 없는 C-말단 조절 도메인을 가집니다. STK24는 GCK 하위군에 속하는 STE20-like kinase입니다.
