For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

ErbB3 (c-erbB-3 / HER-3) is a member of the type I family of growth factor receptors and binds ligands in the heregulin family.
It is over-expressed in various tumors including prostate, bladder, breast, stomach, pancreas, and colon.
Heregulin and EGF stimulate tyrosine phosphorylation of c-erbB-3 to different extents.
The ErbB3 gene is located on chromosome 12q13 and encodes a 160/180 kDa glycoprotein.
Alternative splicing produces multiple isoforms, including a secreted form that modulates membrane-bound receptor activity.
ErbB3 forms heterodimers with other EGF receptor family members, activating signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation and differentiation.
