For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD47 (integrin-associated protein, IAP) is a ubiquitously expressed transmembrane glycoprotein that interacts with several integrins and regulates their functions. Engagement of CD47 modulates signaling pathways including activation of heterotrimeric G proteins and intracellular calcium increase upon cell adhesion.
CD47 also acts as a receptor for the C-terminal domain of thrombospondin and participates in membrane transport and signal transduction.
It serves as a ligand for CD172a (SIRPα), preventing phagocytosis of CD47-positive cells and influencing immune regulation, cell migration, and neuronal development. CD47 is abundantly expressed in synapse-rich regions of the brain and retina.
