Product Specific Information

The 390 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD31 (PECAM-1, gpIIa), a 130–140 kDa surface protein expressed by endothelial cells and at low levels on leukocytes and platelets.
CD31 mediates homotypic interactions important for adhesion, cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, and signal transduction.

• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤ 0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
• Light Sensitivity: Protect from light; tandem dye is photo-sensitive.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution.
• Excitation/Emission: 488–561 nm / 775 nm (Blue, Green, Yellow-Green Laser).
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

CD31 (PECAM-1) is an inhibitory coreceptor regulating T and B cell signaling via ITIM motifs. It is expressed throughout the vascular compartment, mainly at cell junctions.
Its N-terminal Ig-like domain mediates homophilic binding, crucial for cell-cell interactions.
CD31 functions in integrin-mediated adhesion, transendothelial migration, angiogenesis, apoptosis, immune regulation, and thrombosis, serving as a key vascular regulatory molecule.
