Target Information
HIF1-alpha (HIF1A)는 저산소 상태에서 세포의 반응을 조절하는 전사인자 HIF1의 서브유닛입니다. HIF-1은 알파 및 베타 서브유닛으로 구성된 이합체로, PAS 패밀리에 속하는 전사인자입니다. 저산소 조건에서 HIF-1은 적혈구 생성인자, 포도당 수송체, 해당 효소, VEGF 등 40여 개의 유전자를 활성화하여 산소 공급 및 대사 적응을 촉진합니다. 또한 HIF1-alpha는 저산소 유도 세포자멸사, 세포 증식, 종양 혈관신생 조절에 관여합니다. 인간에서는 염색체 14q에 위치하며, C-말단은 p300에 결합하여 hypoxia-responsive 유전자 발현을 유도합니다. HIF1-alpha에 의한 NOX4 유도는 저산소 후 ROS 수준 유지 및 세포 증식에 기여한다고 알려져 있습니다. 저산소는 심근 및 뇌 허혈, 암, 폐고혈압, 선천성 심질환, COPD 등 다양한 질환의 병태생리에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
