Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).

Target Information

CD73 (Ecto-5′-nucleotidase, 5′-ribonucleotide phosphohydrolase) catalyzes the conversion of purine 5′ mononucleotides to nucleosides at neutral pH, with AMP as the preferred substrate.
It forms a dimer of two identical 70 kDa subunits bound externally to the plasma membrane via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol linkage.
CD73 serves as a marker of lymphocyte differentiation, and its deficiency is associated with certain immunodeficiency diseases.
Other forms of 5′ nucleotidase exist in cytoplasm and lysosomes, differing from CD73 in substrate affinity, Mg²⁺ requirement, ATP activation, and phosphate inhibition.
The CD73 gene is localized to 6q14–q21. Mutations can cause joint and arterial calcification and intestinal tuberculosis.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms of CD73 have been identified.
