Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody is shipped as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

NKCC1 mediates sodium and chloride transport and reabsorption. It is a membrane protein crucial for maintaining ionic balance and cell volume. NKCC1 functions as an electrically silent transporter and is phosphorylated in response to DNA damage.
Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been identified for NKCC1.
Diseases associated with SLC12A2 include Basosquamous Carcinoma and Metatypical Basal Cell Carcinoma.
